Flag Painter is a relaxing flag-painting game where you pick a country and recreate its flag one color at a time. The flag appears in front of you as a grid of blank tiles, and every tile that needs the color in your hand glows neon green. Simply run over the highlighted tiles to paint them.
Finish every color and the completed flag is planted on a pole around the terrace, where it stays as part of your growing collection.
Discover 291 distinct flags and 1,164 variations across four sizes, including flags from every country, as well as historical states, organizations, and regions. Choose from four canvas sizes, ranging from quick challenges to massive designs containing up to 300,000 tiles.
Turn on Hint mode and a beam of light will highlight any tiles you have missed, helping you complete flags that may look finished at first glance.
Progress is saved separately for each flag and size, allowing you to leave a flag unfinished and continue it later.
Controls
Desktop
- WASD / Arrow keys = Move
- Shift = Toggle sprint
- Space = Jump
- Tab = Toggle cursor lock
- Left click and drag = Look around
- Mouse wheel / + / - = Adjust camera zoom
- 1 - 9 = Select color
- Q / E = Cycle through colors
- H = Hint
- V = Change camera view
- G = Ghost the finished flag onto the plot
- T = Toggle assist
- F = Flag picker
- U = Toggle UI
- M = Toggle sound effects
- N = Toggle music
- B = Next song
Mobile
- Tap and drag on the left side of the screen = Move (push it to the edge to sprint)
- Jump button = Jump
- Pinch = Adjust camera zoom
- Tap and drag on the right side of the screen = Look around
The three-dot button (...) in the top-left corner of the screen contains additional toggles, including Hint, Camera View, Ghost, Assist, and more.
