How to Play Hotgear

The goal in Hotgear is to drive skillfully and complete challenges while managing obstacles along the road. You can choose between Free Roam and Missions.

Choose your vehicle, tune it to perfection, and jump into explosive challenges. Each game level pushes your limits as you evade relentless enemies dropping bombs to stop you. Quick thinking and expert driving are your only ways out.

Free Roam

In Free Roam, you can explore the town at your own pace. The road is curvy, and the environment is full of objects. A mini-map in the upper right corner shows what is coming up next, so use it to anticipate turns and avoid sudden surprises.

Many of the objects in the world can be driven through. Light poles, guardrails, benches, bus stops, billboards, and even cacti can be hit without bringing your car to a complete stop. These obstacles will slow you down, but you will keep moving.

Larger barriers, however, will stop you entirely and may damage your vehicle. If this happens, maneuver your way out and continue onward. Driving on dirt or grass will reduce your speed. The smooth concrete road provides the fastest driving surface, so try to stay on it when possible.

Missions

Missions play similarly to Free Roam, but you are given a specific route and must reach the destination before the timer runs out. Focus on driving clean lines, avoiding heavy impact obstacles, and staying on the main road to maintain speed.

Escape or get caught. Push your car to the limit as you weave through traps, escape the pursuit, and claim victory. Only the fastest and the smartest will master the art of the ultimate getaway.
