Welcome to your unsettling late-night shift, where an urgent call beckons: “Get here now. We need you to investigate the power outage.” You’ll explore the eerie, dimly lit grounds, guided by WASD controls to move, crouch, and interact with your surroundings. The air feels heavy, the silence broken only by unsettling sounds—this is no ordinary night.

Begin by picking up items like keys using the F key, which will be stored in your inventory (Tab). Doors require hands-on interaction—look at them, wait for the hand icon, and then press LMB to drag them open. Your first mission is to find a flashlight in the shed and then locate the fuse box inside the main building. But restoring the power isn’t as simple as flipping a switch. You’ll need to gather crucial objects scattered throughout the eerie rooms, such as batteries, coins, cassette tapes, and more.

Clues are everywhere and play a vital role in your progress. Did you find a coin? Use it in a vending machine. Have you discovered a cassette? Play it in a cassette player for a chilling audio hint. Every object unlocks a piece of the mystery. Explore carefully—some items, like keys, unlock new areas, while others, like notes and strange markings, point to hidden objectives. Pay close attention to environmental details, as they often hold the answers to your next step.

Eventually, you’ll find a working computer and access its command prompt. Here, typing commands like “run humanist.exe” leads to strange tests and deeper layers of the story. As you navigate the darkened hallways, uncovering objects and solving puzzles, you’ll face the Iron Friend—your encounter with it may hold the key to survival. But beware: the more you explore, the more unsettling the atmosphere becomes. It's not so bad if you don't mind the screams that can be heard from a distance from time to time. The choice—and courage—to continue are yours.
